Shocking revelation on the murder of Form three girl
A Form Three girl is reported to have left school on Monday as she was sent home for school fees. She arrived home safely and stayed with the family the entire day helping out with the house chores.
In the evening she helped her mother to prepare supper. After they ate, Wendy went to bed. At around eleven, it is alleged that she received a phone call which made her to leave the house.
The mother to Wendy identified as Nancy said that that was the last time she saw her. Yesterday evening her body was discovered in a rice plantation two hundred meters from her mother’s house.
Police have begun investigations into the murder of Wendy after the residents called the police to report the matter after her body was discovered dumped in a rice field in Ahero.
The body of the deceased had head and neck injuries (strangulation marks), with blood oozing from the ears. Wendy was the only daughter in their family.
The mobile phone that was used by Wendy as she left her home on the fateful night is yet to be recovered.
Police are yet to find the phone she had used prior to her disappearance even as the family calls for speedy investigations
The area chief stated that the investigations have been launched and assured the family, relatives, close friends and mourners who had come to console with the family that the matter would be resolved within the shortest time possible.
The body of the deceased was moved to the Ahero sub-county morgue pending a post mortem examination.
