Students From A Famous School Go On Rampage, Demand Transfer Of The Principal
Learning in a famous girl’s school in Vihiga County was Paralysed yesterday after students went on rampage demanding transfer of the school principal.
The students of Ibubi Girls High in Vihiga County stormed out of school and took it the streets demanding TSC to transfer the principal of the institution Roseline Ali with immediate effect.
The learners accussed the school management for alleged high handedness.
Police officers from Luanda Police stations took the stage to calm the students and asked the students to leave school peacefully without causing any damagas authorities launch investigation into the said allegations.
The strike has just come a few days after Kuppet officials led by their Secretary General, Sabala accused the principal for harrassing teachers in the institution.
The Vihiga County Kuppet Secretary General said that the union had received many complaints from teachers who expressed how the principal mishandles them.
The school principal dismissed the allegations saying that the union is out to destroy her reputation.
On the same not two schools yesterday from Baringo County went on strike for varried reasons.
Students from Pemwai Girls High School located in Baringo County went on rampage on after one of them had allegedly died in the institution under unclear circumstances.
The students were reported to have Paralysed learning yesterday morning after they took it to streets demanding for the matter to be addressed by the officials from the education headquarters in the county.
The girls peaceful walked for over three kilometers to Kabarnet Stadium where they staged their protest and demanded to be addressed by the Ministry officials in the area.
Citizen digital reported yesterday afternoon that the girls revealed that one of their students, who they did not name, had developed nose bleeding while at the school and thereafter died.
