All teachers of business studies across the country are invited to attend business studies workshop at Gendia High School in Homabay county, Nyanza region.
The workshop is scheduled to take place on 4th and 5th October 2021 during the holiday break. Interested teachers are required to be at Gendia High School as from 8.00 am on 4th October.
The two days training will cover the following key subject areas;
1. Strategies of effective teaching, learning and timely syllabus coverage.
2. Taking candidates through how to answer questions in Paper 1 and Paper 2 during the revision program.
3. Testing and evaluation of Business Studies in projection to KCSE examination.
4. Effective marking of business studies examinations both paper one and two.
Each teacher will be required to pay a facilitation fee of Kshs.2,500 to cater stationery, meals, certification and facilitation.
It is of great value to teachers to attend workshops so that they can always be kept up to date on the current examination trends and emerging issues in the target subject area.
Therefore school heads are urged to support their teachers to attend the workshop for the good of the teacher and the school at large.
