The 3 Wanted Terrorists Who Escaped From Kamiti Maximum Prison Arrested.
The three terrorists escaped from Kamiti maximum prisons on Monday morning. They have been arrested in Kitui county.
Musharaf Abdalla alias Alex Shikanda (34), Joseph Juma Odhiambo (30) and Mohammed Ali Abikar (35) have been on the run since they escaped from prison on Monday morning from Kamiti maximum prisons.
Citizen Digital has confirmed that the three were arrested in Enzio forest in Mwingi East, Kitui County. According to the report, the three were suspended to be heading to Somalia when they were arrested following a tip-off from the public.
The terrorists are on their way being driven back to Nairobi, Kamiti Maximum prisons.
They successfully escaped from the highly guarded prison after they managed to dislodge a brick on the wall of the cell. They created makeshift ropes using blankets, strings and broomsticks that they used to scale two high walks around the correctional facility.
Their escape led to the arrest of seven prison wardens for allegedly aiding the criminals to escape.
Yesterday, President Kenyatta directed Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i to ensure that the three terrorists are arrested.
Further President Uhuru Kenyatta sacked the Commissioner-General of Kenya Prisons Service Wycliffe Ogalo following the Kamiti Maximum Security Prison jailbreak and replaced him by appointing Brigadier (Rtd) John Kibaso Warioba as the Commissioner-General.
