The Government Elevates Ossen Girls High School In Baringo To National Status.
The government through the the Ministry of Education (MoE) has elevated Ossen Girls High School in Baringo County to National status.
This comes following impressive performance the school recorded in last year’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination.
During a thanksgiving ceremony in the school, the Director General for ministry of education Paul Kibet said the government awarded the girl school in Baringo North the status after the school progressively performed well in previous national exams.
The school scored a mean score of 7.6 up from 5.6 in 2020 recording a positive index of two digits.
Kibet lauded the school administration for an improvement of performance and promises that the government will improve the infrastructure in the institution after the status.
Leaders present among them Baringo Governor Stanley Kiptis thanked the national government for elevating the school to a National status saying it will have a positive impact on performance in the county.
