The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) Job Alerts
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has advertised vacancies to recruit accessors in some of the practical based papers.
The accessor to be recruited by KNEC are secondary school teachers for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) oral and practical papers.
The teacher who will be selected successfully will be under training by KNEC while assessing 2021 KCSE candidates.
The teachers whose names are already in the KNEC database of assessors are not supposed to apply.
The advertised vacancies are available for teachers who are specialists in the following subjects:
- Power mechanics (447/2)
- Electricity (448/2)
- Aviation Technology (450/2)
- French (501/3)
- German Oral (502/3)
- Arabic Oral (503/3)
- Sign Language (504/3)
- Music Practical (511/1)
The teachers interested in the above vacancies should have the following qualifications:
- You must be a practising teacher in the relevant subjects;
- You must possess a Diploma in Education (and above);
- You must have a teaching experience of not less than three years (three years and above)
- TSC registered Teacher;
- You must be recommended by the head of the institution where you are curreinterdiction;
- You must NOT be on interdiction 50 years of age and below or any disciplinary by the Commission
To apply you are required to access the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) online portal, fill the provided form with personal details and print the same form in which you will be required to complete sections 2.0 and 4.0 manually.
You will then be required to forward the duly filled to KNEC before September 30, 2021. You are also required to attach copies of your testimonials as listed in the application form. CLICK HERE TO APPLY.
Thereafter the Kenya National Examination Council will shortlist teachers who qualify and are equal to the task.
