TSC: Mass Transfer Of Teachers. Here is the categories of teacher to be affected
Categories of Teachers Likely to be Affected by Transfers as From 9th May 2022.
The mass transfers, which will begin on April 9, are likely to affect some teachers across the country.
A number of teachers are expected to be affected by the forthcoming transfer due to staff balances in schools, sub-counties and counties, according to a notice issued by the Teacher Services Commission on Wednesday, April 4, 2022.
Therefore, according to the TSC, the balance exercise is expected to begin immediately.
All directors are requested to prepare a detailed report on the status of the staff reviewed and it should be submitted to the Commission or TSC Headquarters by 9th May 2022.
Effectively, the posting and transfer of all newly recruited teachers will take place in schools and areas with a shortage of higher teachers.
Teachers in more staffed schools and regions.
It goes without saying that all the teachers appointed in the schools with more staff are expected to be balanced so that the schools with deficits get those additional teachers. So these teachers should prepare for the next transfers.
Teachers who have stayed longer at the station.
The report alleges that those tutor categories who have stayed longer at the station are expected to receive transfers. According to TSC, overstaying means working at the station for more than five years.
