TSC Promotes 1900 Teachers; Check Fill List Of Promoted Teachers.
Teacher Service Commission (TSC) has promoted over 1900 teachers under the Career Progression Guidelines (CPG).
The promoted teachers were interviewed in the month of November 2021. The promoted teachers will fill vacancies ranging from grade C2 (Senior teacher II) to D5 (chief principals).
According to the TSC chief executive officer, Dr Nancy Macharia, 1040 teachers will be moved up the scales.
923 teachers more holding the positions of principals and deputy principals in semi-arid and arid areas have also been promoted.
TSC CEO Dr Macharia said that the teachers in semi-arid and arid areas were promoted deliberately to ensure professional growth as per the career promotion guidelines.
This is in line with the agreement with the trade unions as per the non-monetary collective bargaining agreement signed recently
Another group of 53 teachers have been promoted to the position of chief principals while other 40 teachers have been to fill the position of senior principals.
49 more teachers who have been serving as deputy principals have been moved to the principals’ category.
33 teacheersand15 teachers have also been promoted to the position of deputy principal I and deputy principal II respectively.
The position of senior lecturer I and senior lecturer II have received 16 new tutors and 18 tutors respectively.
Thirty-four (34) teachers have been promoted to take the position of curriculum support officer I and Nine teachers to curriculum support officer II.
Today’s announcement from TSC has come as an early Christmas gift to those teachers who have been promoted to various ranks by the Commission.
