TSC Publish List Of Teachers Who Did Not Complete Tpad
Due to several tasks that all registered teachers must undertake from the Teacher Service Commission (TSC), the teaching profession has of late become very tedious for the teachers.
Under the leadership of Dr Nancy Macharia as the CEO of the Teachers Service Commission through the TPAD tool was developed to guide teachers while performing their professional duties.
Reluctance from most of the teachers to upload Tpad tool details as a result of various challenges ranging from the connectivity of the network, insufficient time and inadequate knowledge on how to upload data made some teachers nit to complete their Tpads.
At the end of the third term 2020 academic year, TSC rolled out summaries of teachers per county who failed to upload their Tpad information.
According to the released list, only 66% of the teachers across the country complied with Kisumu County ranked number one out of the 47 counties.
The deadline for uploading term one came to an end on 1/10/2021and the Tpad portal was closed.
All education stakeholders have been urged to monitor appraisal for this term to ensure that the mistakes which occurred in the first term do not replicate in the second term which is to commence next week.
Teachers have tabled their dissatisfaction online with how network connectivity is a challenge and due to unstable network connectivity, they didn’t manage to upload their Tpads.
So far teachers who failed to meet the deadline have been served with show-cause letters from the commission.
