TSC Rewards 31Teachers On 21 World Teachers’ Day, list of the teachers and their workstations.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has rewarded 31 teachers across the country on the 2021 world teachers’ day in honour of their services in the country.
Teacher Service Commission CEO Dr Nancy Macharia awarded trophies to these teachers during the celebration of the global teachers’ day at Nairobi.
While addressing the mass TSC Chief Executive Officer said that the. 31 teachers had demonstrated exemplary consistency in performance and good service delivery in teaching, management and effective curriculum delivery for quality education for some years now.
When vetting was carried out, some of these teachers were found doing excellently in various aspects of their careers.
De Macharia confirmed to Kenyans that the process of identifying the 31 teachers who have received the awards today was done under strict conformity to the TSC performance recognition, reward and sanction policy flamework.
Dr continued reminding people that the commission is not suggesting that the 31 teachers are the only remarkable teachers in the country but just the tip of the iceberg. She assured people that the commission will keep finding more strategies to ensure all teachers are recognised and appreciated for their good work.
Dr Macharia further said that the teacher service commission is going to recommend the outstanding tutors for recognition at various levels in line with Government Policy.
The list of the teachers who were awarded by TSC is given below;
1. Mr Peter Tabichi of Keriko Mixed secondary school won the 2018 global award.

TSC reported that far 90 teachers across the country have succumbed to the Covid-19 pandemic since its outbreak in the country in March 2020. A moment of silence was held in honour of the teachers.
