TSC Transfers Several School Principals In 2024-Check Affected Schools
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has transferred several school principals who will report to new stations in 2024.
According to the TSC, these transfers are in a bid to replace retired Principals and fill vacancies in schools without heads.
On the same note, newly promoted Deputy Principals have also been given new stations.
Here is a full list of transferred Principals, there current station and new station:
1. Kisumu Boys’ in Kisumu CENTRAL: Owiye Duncan Otieno replaced by Okello Austine Muma from Ringa Boys in Homabay County.
2. Nyabondo Boys’ in NYAKACH: Jura Gabriel Onyango replaced by Opanga Jared Ochieng (Boro Mixed, Siaya)
3. St. Alloys Reru in SEME: Jumah Bernadette Nanjala replaced by Sewe Catherine Akinyi (Bungoma)
4. St. Albert Ranjira Mixed in KADIBO: Aswani Peter Wafula replaced by Ochieng Willis John (Got Agulu, Siaya)
5. Ranjira Mixed in KISUMU WEST: Okiro Solomon Kokiro replaced by Apiyo Luke Agumba (Mariwa Sec, Kisii)
6. Ken Obura Secondary school in Kisumu CENTRAL: Oruko Mary Adhiambo replaced by Nyikal Roselyne Muga (St. Stephens Eshiyanza, Kakamega)
7. Ngeny Secondary school in Muhoroni: Mbati Dalmas replaced by Okutu George Gerald (Namberekeya, Kakamega)
8. Nyando Mixed in MUHORONI: Namugumba Wanjala replaced by Obonyo Aloice Ochieng (Engoto PAG, Kisii)
9. Diemo Secondary in SEME: Lucy Achieng replaced by Ondiek Judit Atieno (Chepkochun Sec, Bomet)
10. Kanyagwal Mixed in KADIBO: Deputy Principal replaced by Arocho Alex Omondi (Nyambare Mixed Homabay)
11. Maliera Secondary in KISUMU WEST: Sikuku Situma Wafula replaced by Kienga Jane Odongo
12. Eluhobe Secondary in Kisumu WEST: Ofuo David Odhiambo replaced by Aoro Judith Susan (St. Paul’s Igara, Busia)
13. Pawtenge Secondary in NYAKACH: Deputy Principal replaced by Christine Juma Omboto (Ngenyi, Kisii)
14. Kanyang’oro Mixed in NYANDO: Tom S. Mboya replaced by the school’s Deputy Principal
16. Sugar Research in MUHORONI: Damaris Abiero replaced by Tom S. Mboya (Kanyang’oro)
17. Padre Pio Masogo in MUHORONI: Deputy Principal replaced by Damaris Abiero (Sugar Research).
18. Apondo Kasaye Secondary in NYAKACH: Deputy Principal replaced by Ochieng Jared Otema (Kiadiege Sec, Homabay)
The Teacgers Service Commission (TSC) is further expected to announce approved mass transfer of classroom teachers for equitable distribution and optimum utilisation.
The transfer criteria will include but not limited to the need for replacement, availability of vacancies in the proposed station, existing staffing norms and medical reasons.
TSC will check on delocalized teachers who are seeking transfers to join their family members in home counties. They are advised to check the status of their applications online on TSC transfer application portal.
Teachers who will be successful transfered to new stations can visit their respective TSC County offices to pick their transfer letters and report to their new station in January.
