10 Counties to Experience Power Interruptions On Wednesday
Power Interruptions on Wednesday to affect 10 counties at diverse times as Kenya point go on with network maintenance.
Kenya Power Campany has announced power interruption on Wednesday in ten countries across the country.
On Tuesday evening, Kenya Power company Release a notice saying that parts of Nairobi, Kajiado, West Pokot, Trans Nzoia, Kisumu, Vihiga, Nyeri, Murang’a, Mombasa and Kilifi will have power interruptions at diverse times during the day.
Here are the parts that will be affected in each County
1. Nairobi County
The parts that will have power interruptions in Nairobi County include KPLC Offices, Sewage, Chereni, Shujaa, Club Max, Wings, Kwa Mama Christine, Barongo, Maji ya Kwanza, Whole of Kahawa Barracks, Loresho, Brookside Drive, Muguga Greens, Grevillea Groove, Mutundu Lane and Kibagare Valley among other areas from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
2. KAJIADO COUNTY
In Kajiado, areas including Simba Cement, Imbirikani, Isenet, Kimana, Loitoktok, Rombo, Tarakea Border Post & Murtot and adjacent customers will have interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
3. WEST POKOT
Areas to be affected include Ortum, Sebit, Murpus, Sina, Chepkorniswo, and Parua 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
4. TRANS NZOIA COUNTY
Power interruption will be experienced between 9.00 am to 3.00 pm in Sinendet, Naisambu, Legacy, Chisare, Sirwo Resort, Twiga, Kapcheplanget, Kuriot, Tuigoin among others areas.
5. KISUMU COUNTY
Areas to be affected include Chemase Dispensary, Chemase Secondary School, Lamayuo Village, Kobero, Chepsweta in Kisumu will experience interruptions from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.
6. VIHIGA COUNTY
Areas to be affected are Kegendirova, Mudasa, Total Petrol, Manyata and Chambiti from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
7. MURANG’A COUNTY
In Murang’a areas including Giachanjiru High, Gaichainjiru Hospital, Manjuu, Karukia, Kandara Market, Kandara Hosp, Kandara Children Home, Sembe Flour Millers, Kaliti Girls, Matharieni, Kariwa and Githunguri Girls will experience interruptions from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
8. MOMBASA COUNTY
Mrima Priary, Mt. Sinai, Barabara ya Mchanga, Mwananguvuze, Corner Zamani, Harambee, Corner Mpya, Shika Adabu, Brazil, Kibaki, Ijara, Misikiti Miwili, Checkpoint, Ndibwini and Soweto Kiteje in Mombasa will have interruptions from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
9. KILIFI COUNTY
In Kilifi, areas to have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm include Mnarani, Plantation, Mandharini, Vipingo Shauri Moyo, Pazuri Homes, Mavueni, Dsitsoni, Jaribuni Quarries, Chasimba, Mwarakaya, Pinglikani and Silala Mwakolo.
10. NYERI COUNTY
In Nyeri, areas including Kamacharia, Kagumoini Market, Kamune Market, Iriru Market and Geitwa Market will have interruptions from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
