The government is in the midst of increasing the stadium’s seating capacity to accommodate 10,000 people, according to Internal Security PS Raymond Omollo.
Omollo claimed the concrete work was already completed during the inspection of the various infrastructure projects at Kericho Green Stadium.
The technical committee, which in fact answers to the steering committee, is leading the majority of the work being done here. Making sure that we are here has taken a lot of work, Omollo remarked.
“We took a thorough tour of the stadium, which is under the management of Sports Kenya. Our public works colleagues are in charge of the oversight, with assistance from KDF. The installation has been completed, and the concrete work has already started.
As part of the inspection, the PS also paid a visit to Kerenga Airstrip and the home of the County Commissioner.
