Two police officers contracted by KNEC have been arrested for allegedly disregarding their duties during the KCSE examinations
Two Trans Nzoia police officers who were detained for neglecting their duties have prompted an investigation.
The officers allegedly left their jobs to go on a drinking binge after being assigned to provide protection for the ongoing KCSE exams.
Candidates for the KCSE will take the Business Studies Paper 1 and the Agriculture Paper 1 today.
On Wednesday, candidates will take the Geoscience and Physics Papers 2, and on Thursday, they will take the Business and Agriculture Papers 2.
The KCSE 2023 exam will conclude on Friday with the candidates doing a practical Physics paper.

Today, Embakasi North MP James Gakuya will face a Sh40 million graft charge before an anti-corruption court, which will issue directives.
In 2018, Gakuya faced four charges of conflict of interest for allegedly giving contracts for building roads to businesses associated with him.
The Constituency Development Fund (CDF) chairman Richard Mwangi Chuchu, Cleophas Omariba Oyaro, the district accountant, and Leah Waithera Guchu, the fund account manager, were also charged with the MP.
