A matatu that was ferrying passengers ramped into another matatu that was ferrying students to school after the long December holiday which lasted for almost three months.
A matatu ferrying a group of students from Njonjo Girls Secondary school was on Wednesday involved in an accident along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.
During the midday incident near Kayole estate in Naivasha, a total of 25 people were injured with three students suffering from fractures.
The accident occurred after a van heading from Kisumu to Nairobi rammed head on into the incoming matatu ferrying 13 students back to school in Nyahururu.
