TSC Releases List of 13 Newly Appointed County Directors
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has named 13 newly appointed county directors who will be deployed to regional and county offices.
Over 50 Sub-County Directors (SCD) and Deputy Directors who applied for the positions were interviewed recently by the commission.
The successful individuals will now be promoted from job group P to R.
From the list of promoted applicants, a good number include those serving as deputy directors at TSC headquarters and those in the field.
Those promoted from the field include:
1. Milton Oyugi who is the current Kericho County TSC Director
2. Erick Magak who is the current Vihiga Deputy Director,
3.Carol Nandi who is currently serving as the Migori Deputy Director.
4. Everlyne Chemjor who is the current Tongaren SCD in Bungoma County
5. Catherine Nairoshi who is the Kikuyu SCD in Kiambu County.
Before her deployment to the field, Nairoshi was formerly serving as a public relations officer at the headquarters.

Those promoted from the headquarters include:
6. Peter Njeru who is serving at the staffing directorate
7. Fredrick Mwaniki who also served at staffing Directorate.
8. Cecilia Nyawira who is stationed at the Teacher Professional Development (TPD) directorate
9. Kioko Daniel who currently is serving at the Discipline Department.
10. Evans Esese who is serving at the integrity division,
11. Dr. Catherine Warui who is also drawn from the TPD Directorate
12. David Mukui from the Discipline Department.
13. Fatuma Mursal who has been serving at the Research and Innovation unit has also landed a promotion.

Those appointed to the positions will have a 5 year renewable contract and they will enjoy a basic monthly salary of between Ksh192, 782 to Ksh288, 051; house allowance of Ksh50, 000; commuter allowance of Ksh16,000; and 30 days annual leave per calendar year.
