The youngest assistant County Commissioner from Bomet County.
The government has recruited 200 Assistant County Commissioners (ACCs) who have been deployed to different parts of the Rift Valley as the country is preparing for the next General Election.
Among the 2000 deployed county assistants is a 24-year-old 2019 Egerton university graduate.
The Rift Valley region county commissioner, Natembeya confirmed their deployment at Langalanga Secondary School on October 5, 2021.
According to Mr Natembeya the 200 administrators were recruited following the administrative units which were created in the region due to the increasing workload ahead of the 2022 general elections.
However, the appointment of Rehema Kiteto as the Bomet Central Assistant County Commissioner has left many people talking due to her age. Many people believe that the post is for people of older age.
Rehema Kiteto graduated from Egerton University in 2019 with a degree in sociology and English literature.

Rehema applied for the vacancy last year without any job experience through the Public Service Commission. She her appointment news for the powerful government position with jubilation.
She reported that she has always been fascinated by the service of people and according to her she has the passion to serve the nation.
She added that leadership is all about passion to serve which has been part of her life.
She is required to coordinate government projects, articulate government plans, solve disputes and n mobilisation those who have not collected the crucial identification documents which are needed in voter registration ahead of next year’s general election in her place of jurisdiction and solve disputes.
Unemployed youths are urged to apply for any job vacancy advertised even without much experience as specified in the requirements.
