TSC Asks Teachers To Update Profile Details Before Deadline.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has asked all teachers to update their profile details through the online registration Portal.
The commission has opened the online registration to allow all individual teachers across the country to update their profiles before 30th November 2021.
TSC has made this announcement through a circular to regional and county TSC directors for quality assurance and standards. In the circular, Dr Mugwuku Nthamburi has directed that the exercise should commence immediately for all teachers to avoid congestion when the deadline approaches.
According to the circular, the online portal is expected to close on 30th November 2021 and by this time all teachers are expected to have updated their profiles.
The circular stated that TSC has provided a link in the TSC website where all registered teachers are required to access the fillable form for carrying out the process of updating the TSC personal profile.
Further, the circular requested the regional and county TSC directors to inform all the teachers in all schools within their area of jurisdiction to update their profile using the link. Click here to update your profile .
Important Notes for Teachers
- TSC only accepts soft copy
- Teachers are required to fill all the sections of this registration application MUST be completed in full.
- Please fill in all the required information correctly.
- TSC warns teachers that it’s a serious offence to willfully provide incorrect information to the Commission. According to the law, any person convicted of the offences is subject to a penalty of up to Ksh 100,000 or imprisoned for Twelve (12) months or both (Section 44 of TSC Act No. 20 of 2012 states).
- You can save part of this form and complete it at a later time if necessary.
- Teachers are required to scan and upload only the required documents listed below:
- Certified copies of the original documents.
- Expatriate Teachers are required to attach a letter of clearance from the Ministry of Education Vetting Committee.
