Good News To All P1 Teachers Following TSC Latest Announcement
The Teacher Service Commission (TSC) has announced the good news to all P1 teachers both employed and unemployed.
Primary School teachers across the country are now happy as the commission clears the air the fate of P1 teachers who have not enrolled to upgrade to diploma level.
According to the latest information for the teacher service commission, P1 teachers who hold P1 Certificates will be employed to offer their services in Primary Schools. This is good news especially to the unemployed P1 teachers who were early ordered to upgrade to diploma level before they can secure a TSC job.
On the other hand, the ministry of education education is currently working around the clock to ensure that the new education system, Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) is going to be implemented successfully in the country.
Also, the ministry of education is working to ensure that new infrastructural facilities are set up to accommodate the alarming numbers of students who are going to join secondary schools in the 2023 looming double intake.
The teacher services commission has also hinted that 36341 primary school teachers who have acquired higher qualifications will be deployed to teach at lower secondary schools to meet the staffing needs following the roll-out of the new curriculum.
Those who will be deployed to teach in Junior Secondary Schools (JSS) include the P1 teachers who hold Diplomas, Higher Diplomas, undergraduate Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas, Masters and PhDs.
