Teachers Urged to Report Delays on MINET Cover by Unionists
Justus Kimeu the Executive Secretary Makueni branch of Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers has called upon all teachers to report any issues or delays on their minet insurance cover.
The executive secretary was speaking to Education newspaper in KUPPET office in Makueni. He pointed out that there have been many challenges including admission authorization and procedures under minet insurance cover that teachers have been facing.
He urged teachers to report any authorization delays for immediate action to be taken up.
He also thanked teachers for the work that they are doing as far as preparing learners for the forthcoming national examinations are concerned. The teachers have done their best because despite the challenges of COVID-19 they have been delivering their services deligently.
In his remarks, he emphasized that working under prevailing conditions of Covid-19 was not easy but the teachers did their best. Let’s thank the teachers and administrators for their efforts.
The Executive Secretary also wished those teachers with political ambitions the best in the different positions they are aspiring for. Teachers choosen as leaders are of great value to the profession and society at large.
Justus Kimeu called upon all examiners to desist exam irregularities of any form as he wished the candidates the best in their exams.
