MoE Latest Guidelines For Transfering CBC Learners From One School To Another
Learners enrolled in the Competency-Based Curriculum are not allowed to transfer from one school to another while in grade 6. Learners in Grade 1 to Grade 5 under CBC have no major issues when it comes to transferring from one school to another.
Grade 3 learners are given a special assessment number by KNEC which is used to upload the assessment results. This unique number will not only be used to aid in the assessment of students beginning in Grade 4 but also help in tracking the learners’ assessment progress throughout their education. This implied that if a student decides to transfer from one school to another, they must keep their assessment number.
