A Headteacher In Hot Soup For Allegedly Impregnating Class 8 Girl.
A headteachers is in hot soup after his relationship with a 16-year old class 8 turns sour a week after attempted abortion.
The class 8 girl is allegedly been in a relationship with the said headteacher against the teachers service commission code of conduct.
Following a botched abortion attempt over the weekend, and the girl has been admitted at Kitui hospital after she developed some complications.
A report from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), has revealed that the class eight pupil delivered a 5-month lifeless male foetus at Mumoni health centre in Kitui County after attempted abortion.
According to the victim’s mother, her daughter had complained of severe abdominal pains, prompting her to rush the minor to hospital.
“My daughter had complained of severe abdominal pains, but when I rushed her to hospital”, the mother narrated.
After interrogation, the girl revealed that her school headteacher who was responsible for the pregnancy, had taken her to a private clinic in Ishiara, last Saturday, February 19, where she was given some tablets and asked to swallow.
“I have been in a relationship with my headteacher. I got pregnant. He took me to a private clinic in Ishiara last Saturday, the 19th of February where I was given some tablets and the clinical officer asked me to swallow”, the girl said after interrogation.
Detectives have since launched a manhunt for the head teacher who has gone missing and the owner of the private clinic who conducted the botched abortion.
