A woman flees with her lover’s car together with Ksh 700,000 after a night of merry-making in Naivasha, Nakuru County.
Police have now launched a man-hunt for the woman who is said to have fled with the car and money on Sunday.
Report indicates that the lovebirds arrived in Naivasha in Nakuru County on Saturday from Narok County where after a night of merrymaking, the lady (about 40 years old) reportedly disappeared on Sunday without her partner’s knowledge.
According to a police report as filed by the man, the woman fled with her lover’s car and Ksh.700,000 cash which was kept in his car from the sale of his farm produce.
“The man has reported the matter and also claimed that he had kept more than Ksh,700,000 inside the car,” said a source within the police department as quoted by media.
Police said they were making good progress with the hope of recovering the stolen car.
“We want to establish how the woman managed to slip away or if the man was drugged prior to the incident,” added the source.
