Early in the morning of Tuesday, October 31, the president received The Royals from England in state house. King Charles III and Queen Queen Camilla are in Kenya for a four-day tour of the country, The Royal Visit.
After the state house visit, as the Royals Royals were leaving the premises a video shared showed the moment that the soldier tripped and fell just outside state house as the King was leaving.
The female officer who was walking in a hurry tripped just a few steps from King Charles III, who was in serious conversation with president William Ruto.
The two leaders were taken aback by the incident but the female officer quickly rose and hurried to open the car door for Queen Camilla.
His Majesty and Her Majesty, King Charles III and Queen Camilla arrived in the country yester evening for a four-day visit.
His Excellency Musalia Mudavadi Musalia Mudavadi, Prime Cabinet Secretary and Minister of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, accompanied by several dignitaries including British High Commissioner to Kenya Neil Wigan received the King and the Queen at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
The visit by their majesties will be the first official visit to an African nation and the first Commonwealth member state since their coronation in May 2023.
President Ruto received their majesties in State House today in the morning, and after a long ceremony which lasted for an hour they left for Uhuru Gardens.
