Good News: Safaricom Has Announced Revamped Data Bundles
Safaricom users have every reason to smile as data Bundles have been increased without any extra cost.
Both postpay and prepay customers will browse more and enjoy the internet at no extra cost.
Safaricom has today announced revamped data plans for its customers. Users will enjoy up to hundred percent data plans on their daily, weekly, monthly and select all-in-one plans.
Safaricom CEO said that the move is meant to offer customers increased value in recognition of the current economic state that has led to increase in the cost of living.
With the new plan, the Sh20 daily plan will earn you 100MB from 50MB; while 99 shillings weekly plan will be equivalent to 500MB from 350MB, and the 1000 shillings monthly plan will now buy 7GB from 5GB.
Safaricom CEO Peter Ndegwa said our economy has shown some resilience to the enormous shocks it has been subjected to for the past two years.
In recognizing the economic strains that the Safaricom clients have had to go through, we hereby remain committed to delivering solutions that will cushion the hardships our customers are bearing by enabling them to enjoy the transformative power of the internet through revamped data, Peter Ndegwa said.
The new data plans comes a few days after the success of ‘Mwelekeo Ni Internet campaign’ which was launched by Safaricom towards the end of last year.
