Government Advertises Jobs, How To Apply and Deadline
On Tuesday, June 6, the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC) announced the availability of 25 permanent posts with pension benefits.
The state corporation said in a statement that it was seeking candidates with extensive expertise who were motivated and results-oriented.
The candidate must be a self-starter who is committed to moving the organization in the direction of fulfilling its mission.
According to REREC, “They will collaborate with the departmental team to champion/welcome innovation, and they must have a high level of integrity and work ethics.”
Principal Operations and Maintenance Engineer, Senior Construction Engineer, Cartographer, Wayleaves Officer, Security Officer, and Driver are a few positions that have been advertised.
How to apply
All interested individuals were urged by REREC to submit their applications in the form of a standard one-page letter along with a thorough curriculum vitae, copies of their academic transcripts, a copy of their ID or passport, and any other pertinent supporting documentation.
All applicants must also complete the Bio Data form, which can be found on the organization’s website, and send the Excel file to the CEO at jobs@rea.co.ke.
All Portable Document Format (PDF) and scanned bio data forms would be rejected, the company informed.
Send all applications to the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation’s chief executive officer at Kawi House, Block C/South C-Bellevue, P.O. Box 34585-00100, Nairobi.
Part of the job description said that “qualified and interested candidates are requested to submit hard copies of their applications together with their updated curriculum vitae, and certified copies of academic certificates on or before the closing dates.”
All eligible individuals, including those who were physically challenged, young, members of minority groups, and women, were urged to submit applications.
“Only short-listed candidates will be contacted, and they will need to bring several clearance documents, including tax compliance from the Kenya Revenue Corporation (KRA), ethics and anti-corruption clearance forms from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELBHELB), a current certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), and a report from an authorized Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
Deadline for applications is on Monday, June 26, 2023.
