Kenya Power: Power Interruption On Thursday To Affect 7 Counties
Power interruption on Thursday to affect seven counties at different times as scheduled by Kenya Power company.
The announcement was made by Kenya Power company on Wednesday evening.
Nairobi, Machakos, Nakuru, Trans Nzoia, Vihiga, Nyeri and Kiambu will experience power interruptions on Thursday.
According to the Kenya Power company, the interruptions are part of the network maintenance.
The power company Hinted that that power blackout will occur at diverse times of the day.
In Nairobi the areas that will experience power interruptions are Serenity Spa Kitsuru, Lake View East, Ngecha Villas, Kirawa Road, Ruai Police Station, Githunguri Est, Joska, Kamulu Town, Patnet Steel and Ngundu among others. The interruption wi start at 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Blue Stone Quarry, Mutalia, parts of Athi River, Total Athi River, Koma Hill, Malaa, Joska, St. Philip, Mbiani, Katinda Ngooni, and Senior Staff in Machakos County will experience power disruption from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Starting 9.00 am to 5.00pm the whole of Mauche Center, Kenyatta Institute, Ngondu, Part of Egerton Center, ABM Njoro, Kaptich, Kihingo, Teret, Pwani, Naishi, Ndeffo, Fontana Flowers, Sopa Lodge, Chesoton, Kapkembu in Nakuru County will experience interruptions.
Parts of Trans Nzoia to experience power disruption from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm include Bubayi and adjacent customers.
Shironyanga, Bushiri Market, Shironyanga Market, Shironyanga Safaricom and Airtel Boosters, Lower Ingotse Market and Shirakwe Market in Vihiga will experience power disruption from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
In Nyeri County Witima, Kagumo Mkt, Kamuini C, Gikira Hydro Auxilary, Mbari ya Ndiga Gaikundo and Gaikundo Village among others will have interruptions from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Ruaka, Redhill, Mirai Court, Mulberry, Gertrude, Gachie, Joyland, Decimo, Total Rosslyn, Ruaka Slaughter, Gacharage, Ndenderu & adjacent customers in Kiambu will have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
