Kim Kardashian a Tv Star and a businesswoman has been married to Kanye West for years. For close to a year, the couple have been in a divorce battle.
Three months ago Kim Kardashian filed for a request to be declared single legally by a court of law. Kanye West, estranged husband to Kardashian opposed her request.
However, A Los Angeles judge has today granted the businesswoman and the reality TV star her request. On that note, Kim Kardashian marital status has changed and she is now legally single as declared by court.
TMZ was the first ones to break the news. It is reported that a source close to Kim Kardashian disclosed or revealed the information.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have been married for seven years. The couple have four children. Kanye West had opposed the request filed by Kim Kardashian to be declared single legally but however, his efforts did not bore any results as she has been granted her request.
In documents submitted to CNN regarding their divorce last week, Kardashian had stated that she desires very much to be divorced from her estranged husband. She continued that she wanted the matter to be kept private but her husband instead made it public. To make it worse, he has been putting wrong information on social media regarding co-parenting and private family issues which has given her emotional stress, she added.
In her request, divorce documents, she continue to state that her being declared legally single will help his ex husband move on and accept the fact that it is over between us. Additionally, this will help us in co-parenting our children peacefully, stated Kim Kardashian in her request.
