Man Kneels before Education Cabinet Secretary
There was a brief drama during the funeral of Nyamaiya MCA Elijah Osiemo when Education CS Ezekiel Machogu was addressing the mourners.
A middle-aged man, bravely walked up to the podium, in a bit to talk to the CS after he had offered a TSC job to one of the bereaved family members and announced that there were other positions for the locals.
No sooner had Machogu made the announcement that the man rushed to the podium, braving all the security guards and rushing straight to kneel while raising his hand as a sign of surrender.
Immediately, Machogu handed him a TSC letter, and the man was seen showing it off to the crowd, as he received claps. With smiles, while holding the letter, the young man Machogu asked the crowd as he received jeers and claps.
This is loosely translated to: “Hasn’t the young man fought for himself? Isn’t that a good fight?”
