Maseno University has announced 64 vacancies in different departments in the institutions.
The positions cuts across for teaching and non- teaching stuff in different faculties in the institution.
The announcement was made know via the advert advertisement from the office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, Finance and Development.
Interested and qualified personnel are urged to submit their applications on or before July 29, 2024.

“Applications must be submitted on or before 29 July 29, 2024 addressed to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, Finance and Development, Maseno University.
Applications received later than the deadline will not be considered.
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted and canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification,” Part of the advert read.
The Department School of Mathematics and Actuarial Science, Department of Pure & Applied Mathematics has the highest vacancies totalling to six.
The personnel needed include:
1. One position for an Associate Professor in Applied Mathematics Grade 14
2. Two positions, Senior Lecturer with Applied and Pure Mathematics two positions
3. Lecturers with Applied Mathematics with specialization in Numerical Analysis/ Fluid Mechanic/ Analytical Methods/ Mathematical Modelling) , and Pure Mathematics (Grade 12) three positions needed.
For non-teaching staff, a registrar is needed at the office of the Deputy Vice- Chancellor Partnerships, Research & Innovations and will be in job Grade 15. Also, one Farm Manager Grade 10 will be hired.

The varsity revealed that the terms of service for all positions will be on Permanent and Pensionable subject to Retirements Benefits Authority Regulations except for the position of Registrar PRI, Grade Fifteen (15) that will be on a five-year contract terms renewable only once based on satisfactory performance and Farm Manager will be a three-year contract terms renewable on satisfactory performance.
