Most Expensive Degree Programmes
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service launched the opening of portal for 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education candidates to apply for placement in university to pursue different careers with the cost of every programme revealed.
On the KUCCPS portal, several courses offered, the institutions, fees per year, and the cut-off points for every institution were listed.
The cost for the programmes range from as low as sixty seven thousand to as high as six hundred and twelve thousand shillings per year.
Most Expensive Degree Programmes
Some of the programmes include the Bachelor of Dental Surgery offered at Moi University at a cost of six hundred and twelve thousand shillings.
The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, offered at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Kenyatta University, Moi University and Maseno University at a fee of 612,000/=.
Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Nairobi at a cost of four hundred and forty three thousand.The University of Nairobi also charges three hundred and seventy five thousand shillings for Bachelor of Science (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) option.
Bachelor of Science (Biosystems Engineering), at the University of Nairobi costs 375,700 while Bachelor of Nursing costs 367,000 at the Uzima University.
On the other hand, JKUAT offers Bachelor of Science (Geomatic Engineering) at a cost of 336,600. University of Nairobi offers Bachelor of Science (Agribusiness Management) at a cost of 316,000 shillings.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is offered at a cost 306,000 in the following universities JKUAT, Kibabii, Kirinyaga, Kenyatta, Catholic University of East Africa and Rongo while the same programme is offered at 345,100 in University of Nairobi.
Bachelor of Science (Geospatial Engineering) at UoN is offered at 374,850 shillings, JKUAT offers Bachelor of Architectural Studies at a fee of 367,200, Bachelor of Real Estate is offered at University of Nairobi at 345,950 and Bachelor of Construction Management from at 348,500 in the same university.
Egerton University offer Bachelor of science (Agricultural Engineering) at Ksh373,540 while Daystar charges 335,000 for Bachelor of Law.
