Requirements for advertised TSC promotions
According to Article 237 (1) of the Constitution, the Teachers Service Commission was created as a constitutional commission.
In accordance with this directive, the Commission invites applications from instructors who meet the necessary qualifications for the positions listed below.
Candidates who are interested and meet the requirements should submit their applications online through the TSCTSC portal at www.teachersonline.go.ke by September 8, 2023, at the latest.
Applications submitted manually will not be accepted.

NB: Before being appointed, interviewees who are successful must show that they have valid Chapter 6 documentation.
valid Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Certificate of Good Conduct
Certificate of Clearance from the Higher Education Loans Board
Certificate of Tax Compliance from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) approval
a Clearance Certificate from a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) that has been authorized
Regular Primary School Senior Teacher II – T-Scale 7
APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS
If a teacher wants to teach this grade, they must:
i. Have held the position of Primary Teacher I T-Scale 6 for at least three (3) years;
ii. Receive a favorable evaluation throughout the performance review process;
iii. Comply with the Constitution’s Chapter Six obligations; and
iv. Comply with any additional requirements the Commission may impose.
NB: Candidates who have worked in the present grade for at least two years are eligible in the Asal and Hard to Staff counties.
SNE PRIMARY SCHOOL SENIOR TEACHER II – T- SCALE 7
APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS
If a teacher wants to teach this grade, they must:
i. Have held the position of Primary Teacher I T-Scale 6 for at least three (3) years;
ii. Possess a Special Needs Education Diploma (in the indicated specialization);
iii. Receive a satisfactory rating in the process of performance evaluation;
iii. Comply with the Constitution’s Chapter Six obligations; and
v. Comply with any additional requirements the Commission may impose.
NB: Candidates who have worked in the present grade for at least two years are eligible in the Asal and Hard to Staff counties.
