Succession Scheme Sacked TSC Deputy Chief
Revealed: Why TSC Deputy Chief Executive was Sacked
Wilson Sossion former knut secretary has condemned the sacking of Teachers Service Commission deputy chief executive officer Kennedy Mulunda, terming it a witch-hunt. Sossion said that it was done in relation to succession Scheme and that he may move to court to challenge the commission’s decision.
Dr Mulunda the deputy chief executive TSC was sacked over allegations of abuse of office and gross misconduct. Dr Nancy Macharia signed his letter of termination.
The TSC disciplinary committee teacher service commission comprising of commissioners found him guilty of the offences after ten teachers from Western and Nyanza region testified against him.
In the event that Kenya Kwanza will win the elections in August, Sossion has vowed to expose TSC and ensure that action is taken against the boss of the commission. Sossion is currently a member of the National Assembly Education committee.
Wilson Sossion accused Dr Nancy Macharia and Teacher Service Commission chair of colluding with other commissioners to sack Dr Mulunda so that he does not succeed her in heading the commission. He added that the chair should announce to the public when Dr Nancy Macharia is expected to retire.
On the other hand, Sossion praised Dr Mulunda as a highly educated human resources expert who should be allowed to run TSC without being maligned.
