Shocking Revelation Why Kabete COP Shot 5 Neighbours And Wife.
New details have emerged over the Kabete police officer who killed his wife and five other civilians before turning the gun on himself on Tuesday, December 7.
According to the report from a close colleague, the COP was under investigation by the Independent Policing and Oversight Authority (IPOA) after allegedly killing another civilian, Nicholas Lifedi mid this year.
It has been now revealed that the ugly incident that occurred yesterday was a result of love affairs.
According to the new revelation, a romantic relationship that started three months ago between Benson Imbatu and one Carol led to the death of the Kabete seven people.
The report from police reveals that the moment if the rage was triggered when the COP (Imbatu) suspect that Carol who was a former barmaid was cheating on him after he had invested a lot of finances and emotions in Carol.
Francis Wahome, the Dagoretti Sub-County police commander the informed media that the preliminary probe on the incident revealed that it was all because of a love relationship.
The COP met Carol in September during one of his drink-outs where she worked as a barmaid and his favourite drinking point.
The late Kabete police station COP won Carol’s heart after which she started cohabiting with him at J Heights Apartments in Kangemi starting November 12.
Imbatu went on as the bond of love grew stronger and stronger and opened for Carol a bar.
As time went by suspicion started rocking their relationship but Carol always assured Imbatu of her commitment to their relationship.
The report further revealed that the COP and his wife Carol started quarrelling while at home when the angry Imbatu fired a bullet into Carol’s neck, killing her instantly and set the house on fire which was quickly extinguished.
The COP killed the other five people after an attempt to give in a chase after he had killed Carol and set the house on fire.
Finally, the police officer fired a bullet in his neck and his life was no more.
