Student disappear mysteriously from school. It is reported that the student was in Form two.
The family is at pain following the mysterious disappearance of their daughter who was in Form two.
The family is in Masaba South Sub County and their daughter was a student at Ichuni Secondary School.
According to Judy Moraa Mother of the girl, she was called by an unknown number and was informed that her child was missing.
After receiving the information she rushed to the school but her efforts to get confirmation from the school admin were in vain as she was not allowed into the premises.
Mrs. Judy said the school guard did not open the gate for her so she made a decision to seek help from the police by reporting the matter at Ramasa police station.
After bringing the police she said they were allowed in but her child could not be found within the school.
She tried calling and visiting all the relatives to inquire about her whereabouts but her efforts to get the girl were futile.
At the school, some of the clothes belonging to the girl were found in the toilet as revealed by her mother.
The discovery forced her to demand for CCTV footage for Inspection from the administration but she was not granted access.
Ramasa police station Commander Samuel Gitau confirmed that he received the report on the mysterious disappearance of the student. Adding that they have launched an investigation to determine what transpired.
The Sub County Director of Education for Masaba South David Sakanka has urged the parents to be calm as the police and the Ministry of Education look into the incident.
The incident comes shortly after other absurd incidences occurred at the school.
Recently, a man in the schoolschool neighborhood was arrested while cohabiting with a school girl who had disappeared from the school.
Not so long ago, one of the staff members was reported as having defiled a Form Two student in the school.
