A trainer has been arrested on suspicion of dragging a 15-year-old Form One scholar into a School bathroom and defiling her.
The Biology teacher at Girls Secondary School in Nairobi is stated to have lured the student to his office throughout preps and then attacked her last Wednesday.
He was the obligation teacher, entrusted with the welfare and good behaviour of the students during and after nighttime studies.
It is alleged that the school did not record the rape until after three days, and then, solely after the students threatened to go on strike and beat up the teacher.
The girl’s dad and mom said they learnt of the attack from the police and not from the school. Again they were informed on Monday, days after the attack.
The girl was taken to the Nairobi Women’s Hospital on Saturday, three days after the attack, where she was once treated, given painkillers and post-exposure prophylaxis drugs, which are used to reduce the likelihood of HIV infection after exposure.
The girl’s mother, who can’t be named to defend the identity of the victim, said she feared that if the teacher has HIV, the capsules would possibly no longer assist because they were administered after the advocated seventy two hours.
The trainer is being wondered with the aid of police.
