TSC PHASE 2 SALARY INCREMENT RATES FOR JULY 2024.
Teachers employed by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) are eagerly waiting for the phase 2 salary increment by the end this month.
The anticipated TSC pay rise for teachers that ranges between 7 percent and 9.5 percent of the basic salary, is going to be fully implemented in this July,2024.
Phase one of the salary increment was effected and disbursed in August last year.
Phase 2 Salary Increment will reflect improved housing allowances in the teacher’s payroll.
2024/25 budget estimates allocated funds to TSC for the implementation of the second phase of the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) following the unions signed last year.

TSC also in the 2024–25 budget estimates allocated an additional Sh1 billion for teacher’s promotions.
In this year, the education sector got a lion’s share of the budget totals of Sh364.9 billion, which was an increment from Sh316.7 billion in the last fiscal year.
With the above allocation, a total of 9,000 primary school teachers and another 3,000 secondary school teachers that were not eligible for recent promotions earlier this year will benefit from the promotion budget.
