TSC promotion interviews for Teachers for the advertised vacancies usually takes place per County.
The teachers Service Commission releases dates when interviews are conducted in each county.
TSC closed the portal for application for promotions on Monday when the set deadline expired.
The teachers who are seeking for promotions and have submitted their applications for promotions in the TSC portal are waiting for the commission to announce interview dates and new requirements if any.
The interview schedule is yet to be provided as TSC once the commission completes the process of compiling the list of the successful applicants to be interviewed per promotion advert number.

TSC promotion interviews requirements
During the physical interview sessions, applicants will be expected to show the following documents:
1. Original National ID card
2. Original Academic and Professional Certificate
3. Letter of appointment to the current grade
4. Letter of appointment to the current post
5. Analysed individual subject results in KCSE examination for the last three years, certified by TSC CD/SCD
6. Performance Appraisal Report for 2020, 2021, 2022
7. Any other relevant testimonials supporting your performance
8. Chapter 6 Documents
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)
- Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
- Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
- Clearance from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
- A Clearance Certificate from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
