LSK has written a letter to the Public Service Commission demanding for the final list of certified Principal Secretaries that was forwarded to President William Ruto for him to make nominations.
In the letter copied to LSK President and addressed to PSC CEO Dr. Simon Rotich, the law society boss states that two of the persons nominated by the President had been not shortlisted for interviews among the 585 candidates shortlisted and their names published in local dailies.
“To achieve our statutory objectives, we require get right of entry to to the closing listing of the successful candidates presented to the President for appointment of Principal Secretaries,” reads the letter.
“We hereby request to be provided with the above-mentioned listing so that we may interrogate it and take any indispensable motion accordingly. Kindly provide the stated facts inside the next forty eight hours in view of the public hobby in this matter.”
According to Dr. Theuri, the Public Service Commission has an obligation to grant correct data to the public as properly as uphold merit-based appointments and the participation of the human beings in such appointments.
