The Teachers Service commission has issued a memo instructing Nyanza region County Directors to release their Sub-County Directors to attend a training which will be held at ARC Egerton University as from next week.
The training will begin from twenty fourth and run upto twenty eight this month. The training is in line with secondary education quality improvement project.
The memo is dated October 18, 2022. It was addressed to teacher service commission Nyanza regional director and copied to all County Directors. The Nyanza Teacher Service Commission Regional Director, Stephen Ajanga stated that the programme will be non-residential.
The memo read in part, “This is to therefore request you to release Sub County Directors to attend a workshop. “
The training aims to ensure provision of quality and inclusive education as a fundamental right.
Stephen Ajanga nyanza regional director further directed the County Directors to ensure that all Sub County Directors take part (must participate) in the programme.
